My quest for the Nobel Prize has been temporarily derailed because I suspended my experiment in organic chemistry today.

    Yep, I cleaned out the fridge.

    My discoveries weren't nearly as exciting as times past. Except for a container of yogurt with a best before date in April that somehow got shoved to the back of the fridge ... heck, there was barely anything that would kill you if you tried to eat it.

    I feel oddly cheated.

    There was a time I could produce some very unique and scary life forms out of my fridge, containers with bulging lids barely containing who knew what madness.

    Could I be growing up?

    It could happen.

    It could.
